Mladen Dabižljević

Mladen is a highly accomplished pianist and composer on the international music scene. He has performed at numerous prestigious venues and festivals, including the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, the New Leipzig Chopin Society in Leipzig, Amici della Musica in Florence, and the Mantova International Chamber Music Festival. Additionally, he held the position of soloist with the Trento Philharmonic Orchestra and Ensemble Zandonai in Italy and has accompanied both ballet and opera at the Arena di Verona and Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

Mladen’s accolades include winning the Premio Melini at the International Piano Competition in 2015 and the Premio Piano Recital Castelvecchio in 2011. He has established an international presence as The Ballet Pianist, creating albums specifically for ballet class accompaniment. Mladen performs both nationally and internationally in professional stage productions.

Since 2018, Mladen has been a valued member of the Ballet Academy Luzern team. His dedication to playing inspirational music significantly enhances the ballet and contemporary dance classes, enriching the experience for both students and teachers. We are extremely proud to have Mladen as a dedicated and inspirational member of our faculty.
