About Berenice Oswald
Berenice Oswald boasts a distinguished career as a dance pedagogue spanning over 16 years. She completed both her vocational dance and academic education in her native Mexico at the International Gymnasium Liceo Michoacano and the Royal Academy of Dance. Since 2002, Berenice has resided in Switzerland, where she successfully completed her dance pedagogy training and was awarded the Teachers Diploma in Ballet with registered teachers’ status from the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance in London.
Berenice has worked for some of the most highly reputed ballet schools in Zurich, including the Lampart Ballet School and the Ballet School for the Zürich Opera House, before joining the Ballet Academy Lucerne in 2018. She is a highly valued member of the faculty, specializing in ballet and dance technique across a broad variety of levels, from the Minis up to the pre-professional levels. Her classes are inspiring and vibrant, implementing the most modern pedagogical techniques to boost students’ confidence and enhance their technical and artistic abilities in a positive environment. Additionally, she is a seasoned choreographer, creating numerous pieces for stage performances.
Berenice continually refines her dance pedagogy through the Royal Academy of Dance, attending professional development courses internationally. Her dedication to excellence is reflected in her teaching, which is both innovative and deeply rooted in the traditions of classical ballet. Berenice’s exceptional expertise and dedication make her an invaluable asset to the Ballet Academy Luzern, where she continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of dancers.
