Arnie Luna Umayam

Arnie Luna is an international dance specialist with over 20 years of experience as a highly acclaimed professional dancer, choreographer, teacher, artistic director, and stage production producer.

After completing his professional training at the Cavite High School for the Arts, Saint Benilde University of Design, and the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet, Arnie performed with the Philippines National Dance Company, Air Dance Company, and ABA Productions, touring extensively throughout Asia. He then expanded his career into choreography and stage production, creating numerous acclaimed works in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and musical theatre.

In 2021, Arnie completed his Royal Academy of Dance vocational examinations and pedagogic qualifications, becoming a registered teacher in addition to the prestigious title of Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance.

For the past decade Arnie’s talents have been enjoyed in Kenya, where he was appointed Artistic Director of the Origins Youth Dance Company and The Academy of Dance and Art in Nairobi. There, he has dedicated himself to teaching dance to students of all ages and levels.

Arnie is a celebrated choreographer and stage production director His notable works include The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Peter Pan, Origins of Mankind, Unflow, Insight, Looking for Alice, Once Upon a Time, A Rock Musical, and many more.
